Sylvie’s Head leaves nothing to chance on “Hysteric”, a warped collision of rock, dub and paranoid tension. Guitars grind against criminal bass, freaky flutes and a worrying beat, pushing the track further into the void of smoke and warm beers. Alongside the original comes the People’s Paradise Mix, a deeper, stranger dub workout built for late hours. With their second album due next year, “Hysteric” keeps the tension building.
