Makthaverskan - S/T CD Album

Makthaverskan’s self-titled debut album is where the band’s characteristic sound first took shape. Written and recorded while the members were still in high school, the record combines raw post-punk energy, emotionally honest lyrics, and Maja Milner’s sharp, intense voice.

Pitchfork noted the band’s urge to go against the grain: “we wanted to mess up a little bit and make more punk in Gothenburg”, as a response to the predictable indie scene at home. With Makthaverskan, the band came to fill a void that had long existed in the Swedish indie landscape.
