The third album by Gothenburg's seminal death-pop spearheaders. Four years after “Makthaverskan II”, Makthaverskan released their third album “III”, picking up where the previous record left off. With the same unrelenting energy, Makthaverskan weave a delicate web of melodies, driven forward by Maja Milner’s confident vocals.

On “III”, the band entered a more mature phase, where themes of longing, rejection, and survival shaped the lyrics, while the music made heartbreak feel triumphant. Pitchfork described the record as filled with “anthems of heartache that anyone could love” and highlighted how “Witness” became “a gigantic triumph… a hardcore call to the pit”.
