Makthaverskan - För Allting 12" LP

The 2021 album from Gothenburg's death-pop spearheads. With their fourth album “För Allting”, Makthaverskan explored new sonic landscapes where experimentation and improvisation took on a greater role. In the studio, the band worked with producer Hannes Ferm (HOLY), a collaboration that proved highly successful.

Pitchfork praised the album for maintaining the band’s “pitch-perfect blend of post-punk, jangle pop, and shoegaze” while deepening its themes of regret and stagnation. Kult Magasin added that the production is refined, highlighting the opening and closing tracks—such as “Maktologen”—which “drowns the listener in reverb-soaked triumph”.
