Sylvie’s Head formed in the industrial city of Gothenburg in 2024, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about new acts in the city’s underground scene. Blending breakbeats, chainsaw guitars, dub chaos and dancefloor euphoria, the band release their debut album Everything Is Free on May 15, 2026.
Following the release of their debut EP Sharp Shooter and the feverish single Godstar, Sylvie’s Head earned a nomination for “Best in Rock” at the 2026 Manifest Awards before releasing a full-length album. The band has already received support from BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X, KCRW, So Young Magazine and The Line of Best Fit, while appearing at festivals including The Great Escape, Focus Wales and Colours of Ostrava.
