Produktserie: Mud Grief

A hybrid primarily consisting of raw noise, thundering guitars, and razor-sharp melodies, or an uncompromising mess with style and finesse.

Mud Grief is an alternative rock band from Gothenburg, formed in 2022 by Elliot Högfeldt and Casper Salenfalk. In a sweaty crowd at a concert at Pustervik, bassist Teo Janssen joined the band. It only took about a week before they got in touch with drummer Nils Hoff, completing the quartet.

Intense songwriting and rigorous rehearsing took off, and soon studio time was booked at Welfare Sounds to record their debut single "Worn Out / Vicious Valerie." Before long, it was time again, and the result was the EP "Noise Pollution," released in June 2023. Produced by Per Stålberg and Kalle Lilja at Welfare and mastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion.

Since then, the focus has largely been on meeting audiences with their energetic live performances both in their hometown of Gothenburg and across Sweden. They've even managed a trip to the Netherlands. Concertgoers have been impressed, and the response has been universally positive, leading many prominent organizers to take notice of them.

Despite all the gigs, Mud Grief has not been idle in terms of songwriting. On the contrary, they recently completed recording their first full-length album, which is currently being mixed and finalized. Their debut album is set for release in 2025 via Welfare Sounds & Records.
