Working from the debut’s dreamful noise and melody and with a new guitarist, Navigation finds the band incorporating their shared love of dance music into the soundscape. Tracks such as Come Down and Simplicity bring the acid house experiments of Pale Saints to mind. Toxic Glue, a track utilizing one of the band’s earliest vocal demos, could’ve been made by Pygmalion-era Slowdive.
