With a previous band, we released a record called 'And then came cancer', whose title came when the singer and guitarist's childhood friend took his life. Shortly after the release, the singer found out that his father's wife had cancer. Not long afterwards, the guitarist's father also was told he had it. Both died within a year. The cancer became synonymous with the suicide, the broken heart and the loneliness - the record became too difficult to listen to after that.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\"\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eIn a time of pandemics and death, the existential issues have become relevant again. With grief constantly present, the music ends up in a context where darkness is contrasted by light and hope of reconciliation.
